Muelink & Grol has its own laboratory with testing equipment at its disposal to perform measurements in accordance with European Standards. With wind tunnel tests during the development phase it is possible to determine recirculation of flue gasses in the air supply.

Critical pressure differences with various wind conditions are important parameters for construction. With the help of a comprehensive test programme the flue system is developed to fit each individual boiler. This also includes ice formation tests at temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius. This enables the engineers to develop terminals that prevent the formation of ice.

With a special sprinkler installation roof and wall terminals are tested on rain ingress in different angles of rain impact.

Resistance of flue and ventilation systems are measured with a very high accuracy. With the assistance of testing equipment and specific know-how our expercienced engineers are able to support boiler manufacturers by determining flue lenghts in combination with their boiler according for example european regulations. Also here we help our customers to find the right flue solution for their boiler for every specific market.
